Lady Rockets win 6A State Championship

The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets won their second state championship in three years after destroying Terry High School 53-39 on Saturday to put a crown on a nearly perfect season. 

The Neshoba Central High School Lady Rockets are the MHSAA Class 6A Girls State Basketball Champions, defeating Terry 53- 39.

Lady Rockets competing for state title

The Lady Rockets will play tomorrow for the 6A State Basketball Championship after besting Hancock 48-30 in the semifinals last night. 

Rockets improve to 6-1 on season

The Neshoba Central Rockets improved to 6-1 on the season after a 10-0 blanking of the Morton Panthers Tuesday night and 6-5 nail-biter against the Kosciusko Whippets Thursday night.

Lady Yellowjackets kick off softball season with 2 losses

The Union softball team was shutout in a pair of games, losing 15-0 to 5A power Neshoba Central on Tuesday and 4-0 to Florence on Saturday. Union got its first win on Thursday with a 15-10 win over Southeast Lauderdale.
