Neshoba Central, Philadelphia play in soccer tourney

The MHSAA Boys and Soccer State Tournament is in full swing this week, with the Neshoba Central Rockets scheduled to take on Saltillo in the 6A bracket on Tuesday
The Rockets, sitting at 8-11-2 on the season, defeated Vicksburg 7-0 on Friday.
The Lady Rockets defeated Olive Branch 3-1 on Monday in the 6A bracket. They will play their next game on Friday against the winner between Warren Central and Grenada.
The Philadelphia Lady Tornadoes advanced to the second round of play after besting Independence 3-0. They were scheduled to take on Tupelo Christian Prep on Tuesday.
