The Northside Park 6U All-Star baseball team got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play in the Dixie Youth Regional Little League World Series over the weekend after finishing second in the state tournament earlier this month.

The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets finished the softball season as the undefeated Region 2-6A champions and kick off the first round of the playoffs this Friday at home at 5 p.m. versus the Lake Cormorant Gators. 

The Union Yellowjackets saw their baseball season come to an end in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs. 

The Leake Academy baseball team ended the regular season on a sour note last week, losing the last two games to East Rankin.

The Neshoba Central High School Tennis team finished the regular season with an 8-2 record, 5-0 in their division, earning the Class 6A Division 2 championship. 

The Union baseball team continued its turnaround season last week with a big division win over Sebastopol.

The Union tennis team saw its season come to an end last week.

Union softball coach Jacob Casey informed his team last week that he would be stepping down from as head coach at the end of this season.
