Lady Rockets continue to dominate on the court

The MHSAA Boys and Girls Basketball State Tournaments start next week and local teams are cashing in a few extra wins before the postseason begins. 

The Lady Rockets’ impressive season continues as they currently sit 26-1 and undefeated in 6A Region 2 play. 

They are coming off a dominating 67-16 win against Columbus on Saturday. 

Sophomore Kyli Truss led the squad with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 9 steals in the contest. 

They are scheduled to play Vicksburg on Wednesday. 

After losing to Callaway last week, the Rockets rebounded on Saturday to defeat Columbus 76-65.
