During last Monday’s meeting, the Philadelphia Rotary Club was honored to recognize three of our local September 2024 Students of the Month.

Dr. John Miller’s passion for cooking was sparked at an early age by watching his mother and grandparents in the kitchen.

Precious Heidi Mae Monk made her grand debut into our beautiful world to an adoring audience with her parents, Buddy and Hannah Turk Monk, in the front row reserved seats!

Cayla Stephens’ love for cooking began at the young age of two, sitting on the counter with her late grandmother, Pat Yates, helping “milk the bowl” after cakes were baked.

Philadelphia Middle and High Schools announced the 2024 Homecoming Court last week.

Krissy Long learned her culinary skills from her mother, Stephany Winstead, a generational cook taught by her great-grandmother.

Adrienne Sisson’s passion for cooking was sparked by her two grandmothers, Loretta May and the late Brenda Sisson, who taught her to make homemade biscuits and sweets.
