Terry Lynn Maners Watkins

Terry Lynn Maners Watkins, of Philadelphia, MS, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away August 24, 2024, at Anderson Baptist Hospital of Meridian, MS. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Wesley Methodist Church Family Life Center of Columbus. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Watkins was born January 5, 1962, in Columbus, MS, to the late Joe Robert and Linda Oliver Maners.  She was a graduate of Caldwell High School and Mississippi State University.  Terry had various jobs in tourism and worked primarily for the Pearl River Resort for most of her career.  She was a member of various organizations in tourism in many communities and was the Past President and board member of the Mississippi Tourism Association.

Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Watkins of Philadelphia, MS, step son, Nicholas Wayne Watkins of Columbus, MS, sister, Tami Maners Gavin of Columbus, MS, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Glenda & Walter Clemmons of Ridgeland, MS, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richmond & Mary Watkins of Brandon, MS, grandson, Logan Watkins, and numerous cousins.

Memorials may be made to any non profit organization that helps with any children or animal medical needs.
