Maggie Hillman

Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home with Bro. David Richardson officiating. Interment followed in the Morrow Cemetery. McClain-Hays was in charge of arrangements.

Maggie Hillman, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Born on Tuesday, January 4th, 1938 to parents, James Austin Rich and Ellie V. Rich Russell. Maggie dedicated her life to her family and church. Ms. Hillman was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheri Caraway; son, Michael (Kay) Hillman; grandchildren, Bonnie (John Mark) Posey, Dana (Josh) Garrett, Katie (Tyler) Sistrunk, Jon Michael (Cali) Hillman; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Hillman was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hillman; sisters, Louver D. Pace and Geneva Belk; brother, Jimmy Rich and infant Rich.
