Funeral services for Ms. Margie Truhitt were held at 2 PM Monday, July 22, 2024, at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. David Jay officiating. Interment was in the Greenland Cemetery. Visitation was held at 12 PM – 2 PM Monday, July 22, 2024, at County Line Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Truhitt, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her home. She lived most of her life in Newton County in the Greenland Community. She was a business owner in Union, MS for many years. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. Her hobby was working in her yard with her flowers, and she loved shopping at Dillard’s.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Truhitt; parents, Robert and Julia Dallas; sisters, Sara Jones, Clara McMullan; brothers, Bobby, Charles, and Horace Dallas.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Truhitt (Monica); sisters, Annette Boatner and Faye Phillips; (3) grandchildren, Taylor Truhitt (Charissa), Amber Truhitt, Addison Truhitt; special companion, Norman Yates, and a host of family and friends.
