A Collinsville man and his passenger were arrested on drug charges after meth was found in their vehicle.

The driver, Zackery Allen Partridge, 27, of 10480 Road 4316, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark.

His passenger, Matthew T. Moore, 29, of 10011 Road 444 Apartment 6, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, Clark said.

Deputies first encountered the duo in a vehicle that was missing a headlight headed down Highway 19 South on Oct. 1 at 8:12 p.m., Clark said. The deputy made the traffic stop near the intersection of West Tucker Circle.

Partridge, the driver, gave consent to search the vehicle. Deputies found a clear crystal-like substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine in the center console.
