Lucille Wilcher

Funeral Services for Lucille Wilcher were held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Curt Pace and Bro. Dudley Winstead officiating. Interment followed in the Wilcher Family Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lucille S. Wilcher, 98, of Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, October 8th, 2024.

A dedicated homemaker, Lucille was known for her love of riding tractors, tending to her garden, and her passion for yard work. She will also be remembered for her love of family and her laughter.

Lucille is survived by granddaughter; Tonya Fortune (Chris); grandson, Tim Clair; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sisters; Joann McDonald and Allie Jenkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.

She was preceded in death by husband, Aubrey L. Wilcher; daughter, Sandra Clair; parents, Sam and Clydia Savell; siblings, Bobbie Ellis, Hazel Savell, William Savell, and Aubrey Charles Savell.
