Edward Lee “Ed” Beckham

Graveside memorial service for Edward Lee “Ed” Beckham will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City with military honors. McClain-Hays Funeral is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beckham, 85, of Walnut Grove, MS, died Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Ed was a native of Yazoo City and served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked most of his life in the oil fields as a mechanic and retired in 2007.

Survivors include sons, Eddie Beckham (Donna) of Walnut Grove and Tony Beckham (Debbie) of Carthage; daughter, Susan Ellington (Billy) of Walnut Grove; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Fay Mitchell of Vicksburg, Wandie Edleston of Walnut Grove and Brenda Selman of Vicksburg; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Beckham was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Beckham; parents, George and Mary Beckham.
