William Russell Hughes

Funeral services for Mr. William Russell Hughes will be held at 1 PM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel with interment in Pearl Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carthage, MS. Visitation will be 12 PM – 1 PM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Hughes, 57, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at his home in Neshoba County. He lived most of his life in Canton, MS. His hobbies were fishing, camping, working on car, and helping people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donley Royce Hughes Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Hill Hughes; brother-in-law, Ricky Neese.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Garley (Martie); sister, Patricia Neese; brothers, Donley Royce “Roy” Hughes Jr., Michael Dewayne Hughes, James Victor Hughes, Terry Dewayne Hughes, Danny Ray Hughes Sr; (1) grandchild.
