Stanley Smith

Family to hold a Memorial Service for Stanley Smith at a later date.

Mr. Smith, 89, of Ridgeland, MS died Thursday, July 11, 2024. Stanley was Born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Philadelphia, MS. He was a Seaman with the United States Coast Guard. His love for working on cars lead him to becoming a mechanic by trade.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Inez Donald Smith; daughters, Tempie Smith (Randy Smith) of Clarksville, TN and Angie (Dr. Harry Dowdy) of Madison, MS; sons, Donald Smith of Jackson, MS and David Smith DVM of Arlington, VA; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his mother, Hester Mae Smith and adopted mother, Mary Louise Grafton; brother, James Smith.
