Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Lynn Hockett were held at 10 AM Friday, May 10, 2024 at Hope Indian Baptist Church with Bro. Travis Willis officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Visitation was at 10 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Hope Indian Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hockett, 64, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. She enjoyed online shopping, watching movies, reading and crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Beamon York and Annie Faye Guess; sisters, Beverly Dibiasi and Karen Burns; brother, John Scott York.

Survivors include husband of 22 years, Billie Hockett; daughter, Isabella Brescia.

Pallbearers are Josh Denson, Mitch Skelton, Brett Isaac, Josh Weaver, Kevin Willis, Zach Weaver, Joey Farve.  Honorary pallbearers are Shane Bass and Brad Palmer.
