Funeral services for Mrs. Ouida Moody Ferguson were held at 10 AM Monday, July 8, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation was 5 PM - 7:30 PM Sunday, July 7, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel. 

Ouida Moody Ferguson, age 73, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born on May 16, 1951, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. 

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 54 years, Charles “Walter” Ferguson, Jr.; daughters, Wendy Michelle Castillo (Walter) and Shelly Kay Martin (Terry); grandchildren, Daniel Castillo (Korey), Kyle Castillo, Carly Castillo, Michael Burkett, Colston Burkett, Tanner Martin, Nash Martin and; great-grandchildren Ryleigh Castillo, Andrew Miller, Madelyn Miller

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Troque Moody and Eva Beatrice Parker Moody. Ouida was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, and grew up in both Philadelphia, Mississippi and Metairie, Louisiana.
