The season came to an end for the Neshoba Central girls and the Union girls basketball teams Tuesday in the semifinals of the Class 5A and Class 2A state tournaments, respectively.
Laurel defeated Neshoba Central 65-52 and Calhoun City beat Union 44-29.
Leake Academy girls enter the Mid-South Association Independent Schools Overall State Tournament as the Class 4A State Champions and begin play Friday at home.
