Neshoba teams win on court

The Neshoba Central Rockets picked up two wins last week and improved their record to 10-1 in prep basketball action.
The Rockets started the week with a 55-54 win over Choctaw Central and then blew out Pearl 61-43. Neshoba Central will host New Hope Tuesday and visit Newton County Friday.
The Lady Rockets improved to 7-2 with a pair of wins last week.
Neshoba Central avenged an earlier loss by defeating Choctaw Central 77-67. They then crushed Pearl 69-20.
Kyli Truss led the Lady Rockets with 22 points. Zharia LeFlore added 16 points, and Aaliyah Tahahwah added 12.
In their win over Pearl, Katelyn Williams and Aaliyah Tahahwah both had 10 points.
Neshoba Central enters the week with a 7-2 record.
