Neshoba Central volleyball team preps to take on New Hope

The Neshoba Central volleyball team enters its region schedule with three key games coming up.

The Lady Rockets entered the week with a 16-0 record. They were to play region foe New Hope Tuesday and non-region foe Enterprise on Thursday.

Next week, the Lady Rockets visits New Hope on Tuesday and hosts Columbus on Thursday. The Columbus game will count as a region game.

The Lady Rockets won two matches last week. They defeated Starkville 18-25, 25-9, 25-16, 25-19. They then defeated Enterprise 24-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.

“We will see what we are made of this week,” Coach Zach Sanders said. “New Hope has played for the North half two years in a row and they will be tough.”
