Linda Charlotte Bishop

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Charlotte Bishop were held at 11 AM Friday, May 31, 2024 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Bro. Eddie Pilgrim and Bro. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment was in Ocobla Cemetery.

Mrs. Bishop passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at her home. Charlotte served the Lord as a pastor’s wife for 60 years. Charlotte’s special ministry was working with children. She taught Sunday School, Kindergarten, Children’s Church, Vacation Bible School and many other children’s activities. Charlotte served as church secretary in several churches. Charlotte loved flowers and making flower arrangements, cooking, decorating.

Survivors: Husband, Rev. Jerry Bishop; Son, Greg (Pam) Bishop; Sisters, Judy Allen, Jean (Art) Fulton and Patsy (Bill) McGee;(2) Grandchildren; (1) great-grandchild; Sister-in-law, Elsie Bishop;a host of nieces, nephews.

Preceded in death: Parents, Therman and Mauvene Thomas; Mother and father-in-law, Lavada and James Bishop; Brothers-in-law, Jim Bishop and Charles Allen.
