Lamar County murder suspect’s car found at apartments here

The getaway car used by a murder suspect in Lamar County was found at an apartment complex here.
Though deputies never made contact with the suspect, 19-year-old Jamario Calloway, Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark said deputies here were able to identify the vehicle he was last seen in at Pendleton Square Apartments on Aug. 25.
Clark said they believe he was visiting family who lived at the apartment complex.
Calloway was wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Aug. 24 in Lamar County.
Clark said he got word on Sunday morning that Calloway turned himself in to Lamar County officials.
