Lady Rockets roar through tournament
The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets improved to 7-0 last weekend as they picked up four victories in the Daphne, Ala., tournament.
In four games, the Lady Rockets scored 52 runs and allowed only five runs. Neshoba Central defeated Daphne 12-0, Robertsdale 10-0, Baldwin County 12-4, and Foley 18-1.
The Lady Rockets will play two games in the Enterprise tournament this weekend. They take on West Harrison on Friday and Northwest Rankin on Saturday. Neshoba Central will host Southeast Lauderdale next Tuesday.

Daphne 0
The Lady Rockets banged out 13 hits in their win over Daphne.
Elleigh Willis pitched the first two innings and picked up the victory. KK Goodin pitched the last two innings. Willis helped her cause with two hits and three RBIs.
AnnaLeigh Jones hit a double and a single and knocked in three runs. Mauhree Jones hit a double, scored a run and knocked in two more. Tenly Grisham had two hits and scored two runs. Kylee Thompson had two hits while scoring a run and knocking in another. Reese Page and Jeyda Ben both had two hits.

Robertsdale 0
The Lady Rockets outhit Robertsdale 10-1 for the shutout victory.
Elleigh Willis pitched four innings and allowed one hit while striking out four batters. Mauhree Jones pitched two innings. Willis hit a double and a single while Jones hit a single.

Baldwyn County 4
Tenly Grisham went 4-for-4 while scoring four runs to lead the Lady Rockets past Baldwyn County.
The Lady Rockets scored one in the first, three in the second, five in the sixth and three in the seventh. Baldwyn County answered with three in the third and one in the seventh.
Mauhree Jones pitched four innings and was the winning pitcher. She allowed two hits, two earned runs and struck out one batter. Elleigh Willis pitched the final three innings. Jones helped her cause with a double while Willis hit a double, knocked in two runs and scored another.
AnnaLeigh Jones hit two doubles and knocked in five RBIs. Reese Page had two hits. Kylee Thompson had one hit.

Foley 1
The Lady Rockets closed out the tournament with a runaway victory over Foley.
Neshoba Central scored three in the first, six in the third and nine in the fourth. Foley scored its run in the fourth.
Mauhree Jones was the winning pitcher. KK Goodin also pitched. Jones hit a double.
Everyone played in this game. Sa'Nya Jackson hit a triple. Elleigh Willis hit a double and a single. She scored two runs and knocked three in. Kylee Thompson had two hits.
