Glorianna Marlene Shumake

Funeral services for Mrs. Glorianna Marlene Shumake were  held at 2 PM Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Wilson officiating. Interment was in the Redwater Community Cemetery. Visitation was at 6 PM Thursday, June 13, 2024, at her home, 860 Indian Reservation Road, Carthage, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shumake, 60, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. She lived most of her life in the Redwater Community. Her hobbies were shopping and spending time with her grandkids. She was very family oriented.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dempsey Shumake and Zulene Dixon; daughters, Kristy Ariel Wilson, Reanna Cherea Wilson; sisters, Annie Merle Isaac, Rexalene Shumake Steve; brothers, Randall Crenshaw Shumake, infant John Randall Shumake, Hurley Russell Shumake, Alex Randy Shumake; grandchildren, (2) Baby Wilsons.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Wilson; daughters, Casondra Lashay Hickman, Kasey Wynette Wilson; son, Lucas Elliot Wilson; sister, Maybelline Shumake; brothers, Leonard Shumake, Garland Shumake, Jerry Lee Shumake, mother-in-law, Bessie Wilson; (5) grandchildren.
