Everett "Joe" Rutledge

Everett "Joe" Rutledge peacefully left us on Tuesday April 23, 2024, surrounded by his family, at his home in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He was born on July 28, 1943 in Neshoba County to Clarence and Vira Jenkins Rutledge. Joe was a hard worker who loved and supported his family.

Everette Rutledge was preceded in death by his parents, brothers James (Bud), Louis, Walter, Willie C. (Bill), and Clarence (Pete) Rutledge, sisters Beatrice Steelman, Mary Busby, Margie Ann Rutledge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Keeton Rutledge, daughters, Sherry Griffin, Cindy Kennon, Mary Ann Long (Guy), as well as 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother Randy Rutledge (Diane), sisters Ada O'Neil (Eddie), Dorothy Johnson (Art).

Services were held Friday, May 3, 2024 at Mortimer Funeral Home in Belzoni, Mississippi.
