Philadelphia High School football alum Ja’Naylon Dupree was one of 21 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College players names to the All-MACCC South football teams announced by the conference on Monday

Dupree ranked seventh in the country with 74.2 yards receiving per game, leading Gulf Coast with 48 receptions, 742 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns.

The Bulldogs had eight players named to the First Team, also the most on the division. Defensive lineman Davin Anderson (So., Greenwood/Greenwood), wide receiver Jay Dupree (So., Philadelphia, Miss./Neshoba Central), offensive lineman Greg Nunnery (So., McComb/McComb), kicker Gabriel Showalter (So., St. Martin/St. Martin), returner Dayan Bilbo (So., Vancleave/Vancleave), defensive back LaDareyen Craig (So., Mobile, Ala./Baker) and linebacker Wyatt Wright (So., Bridgeville, Del./Woodbridge) were all named to the top squad.

Gulf Coast had seven named to the Second Team: defensive lineman Kazarius Bowie (So., Jackson/Brandon), running back Jamari Thompson (So., Pearl/Pearl), running back Trey Hall (Fr., Vicksburg/Warren Central), offensive lineman Joe Bradford (So., Pass Christian/St. Stanislaus), offensive lineman Zerian Hudson (So., Brookhaven/Brookhaven), and defensive back Kionte Curry (So., Mims, Fla./Cocoa).

There are six Bulldogs on the Honorable Mention list: defensive lineman Javen Gibson, quarterback Eli Anderson, tight end Jackson Kostmayer, tight end Bryce Johnson (So., Picayune/Pearl River Central), punter Gabriel Showalter, and linebacker Kevin Larkins.
