Dorisene Washington

Funeral service for Mrs. Dorisene Washington will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2 P.M. from the chapel of Beck Funeral Home, Dekalb, with Rev. Darryl Rush officiating. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Washington, 85, of Preston, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Winston County, MS.  

She is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Baxter of Chicago, IL, Doris Tyler of Rivedale, IL, Limuel Jackson of Preston, MS, and Stevie Jackson of Dekalb, MS, two brothers, Lullie and Lellie Scott both of Preston, MS, one sister, Abbie Ruth Chaisson of Lafayette, LA, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.  

Pallbearers are Benard Wilson, Daniel Jackson, Paris Tyler, Kelsey Hogan, Larry Harper, and Keshawn Harper.
