Dr. Zaineb Daud has joined the medical staff at Neshoba General Hospital, officials announced last week. 

Her specialties include Neurology and Psychiatry with over 31 years of experience. Her practice is on campus in the Neshoba Medical Arts Clinic where she will specialize in Neurology.

Neurology is a branch of medicine concentrated on diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the brain, and nervous system. Neurologists are highly trained clinicians capable of diagnosing complete conditions through detailed history and physical examination, including testing of mental status, vision, speech, strength, sensation, coordination, reflexes, and gait. 

Dr. Daud received her medical degree from University of Karachi, Sindh Medical College Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her internships in Internal Medicine and Surgery at Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Center, Karachi, Pakistan and at The Brookdale University Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. Her neurology residencies were completed at University of Connecticut, Hartford Hospital Programs, in Farmington, Connecticut and at Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, Penn.

She will be accepting new patients effective Sept. 12.
