Yvonne Payne Cheatham

Private graveside services were held in Cedarlawn Cemetery with Dr. Dan Howard officiating.  

Yvonne Payne Cheatham, 94, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Clois and Eunice Tolbert Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Cheatham; brother, Jack Payne and sister, Peggy Coleman. Yvonne was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Franklin, NC.

She is survived by son, Alton Cheatham and daughter, Carole Hill, both of Franklin, NC; eight brothers and sisters, Mary Ethel Turner, Hoyt Payne, Uhl Payne, Jo Walters, Weegie Thomas, Rhonda Thomas, all of Philadelphia, MS; Laquita Edmonds of Mooresville, NC, and Glenda Gregory of Noxapater, MS; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
