Wallace Skipper

Services for Wallace Skipper were held on Friday March 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Ray Spence officiating. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Skipper passed away Monday March 18, 2024 at Merit Health River Oaks.

Wallace "Skip" was born in Meridian, Ms., but had lived in the House community of Neshoba County all his life and attended Neshoba Central Schools. Skip had worked many years as a dairy manager at Sac-n-Save and also worked for a number of years at Sisson Trucking. Mr. Skipper was a long-time member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Sartin (Sean); mother, Joella Skipper; sister, Mary Fields; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families.

Mr. Skipper was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth Skipper; son, Jonathan Anthony; and father, Ira Skipper.
