Graveside service for Ms. Shirlen L. Thomas will be held 10 AM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery. No visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.
Ms. Thomas, 86, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home in Decatur, MS. She was a retired office administrator. She loved cats, flowers and being outside.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, W.R. “Bill” Thomas; parents, Malcolm Lee Watkins, and Jennie Louise Allsup Watkins; sister, Sally Griffin; brothers, Hamp, Terry, and Cary Watkins.
Survivors include, daughter, Tammie Thomas; sister, Sue Whatley; brothers, Malcolm Watkins Jr., Dennis Watkins; several nieces and nephews.
