A break-in at the Hope County Store at the beginning of this week is under investigation, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark.

“We are currently working on securing surveillance footage from surrounding businesses and developing a vehicle description,” Clark said. “We ask that anyone with knowledge of this crime make an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers.”

Clark said the break-in at the store on Highway 488 happened around 4 a.m. on Tuesday.

Clark said surveillance video shows three young males entering the store and making off with money and more than 50 vape pens.

Investigators determined that entry was made through the front door, which was forced open.

Authorities do not have the identity of the suspects as they had their faces wrapped but noted they are slender and under six feet tall. He also described the suspects as “younger.”

Clark said it is believed to be the same trio that broke into the same store through a window on July 30, the Sunday after the Neshoba County Fair.
