Sarah Marie Pilgrim

Services for Sarah Marie Pilgrim were held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Eddie Pilgrim officiating.  Burial followed in Vardaman Cemetery in Kemper County.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Pilgrim, 75, of Gore Springs, MS, died April 22, 2021. 

She was raised in Neshoba County and retired after working many years from Williams Brothers in Philadelphia. Mrs. Pilgrim was a member of Vardaman Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Laura Denley of Gore Springs, MS; son, Joey Pilgrim of Prattville, AL; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Adkins and Gertrude Herrington, both of Philadelphia, Lena Davis of Edinburg, MS; brothers, David Ellingburg of Edinburg, MS, Charles Ellingburg of Philadelphia, MS, Glen Ellingburg of Meridian, MS. 

Mrs. Pilgrim was preceded in death by husband, Luther Pilgrim; daughter, Sheila Pilgrim Hamby; sister, Louise Cumberland; brothers, Leslie Ellingburg and Pete Ellingburg.
