Ruby Breazeale Smith

Funeral services for Ruby Breazeale Smith were held Monday, April 11, 2022 at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Brian Weir and Rev. Mac Alford officiating. Burial followed in Arlington Cemetery. McClain-Hays was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 83, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, April 09, 2022.

Mrs. Ruby was born in Canton, MS and was raised in Neshoba County.  She worked in the banking industry and served as Neshoba County Election Commissioner District 1 and volunteered at Neshoba General Hospital gift shop. Mrs. Smith was a long time member of Arlington Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Smith; daughters, Shelley Ellard (Pendy) and  Melanie Barnett (Johnny); son, Scott Breazeale (Suzanne); grandchildren, Cassidy, Landon, Jud, Lacie, William and Joseph;10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay Smith and Kathie Hardy; brother, John Harris.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by husband, Rayburn Breazeale; son-in-law Tim Stephens; sister, Charlene Willis.
