Ronny Howard Salter

Graveside services for Mr. Ronny Howard Salter will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Damascus Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Kemper County with Rev. Tony Volking and Rev. Hollis Warren officiating. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.

Mr. Salter, 80, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. He lived in Kemper County all of his life. He worked as plant manager for Mississippi Industry For The Blind. Mr. Salter was a member of Damascus Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church and singing.

Mr. Salter was preceded in death by his Parents, Clifton Howard Salter and Nettie George Salter; Wife, Ann Salter (2017); Son, Kerry Salter (2017).

Survivors: Daughters, Teresa Smith, Kim Volking (Rev. Tony); Sons, Daryl Salter (Tanya), Shannon Salter; Sister, Ivon Gordon; Brother, Larry Salter; (7) Grandchildren; (7) Great-Grandchildren; Nieces, Nephews.
