Funeral service for Mr. Ralph Jackson Thompson was held 10 AM Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Doby Henry officiating. Interment in Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery. Visitation was 5 PM Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.

John E. Stephens Chapel in charge of arrangements. Mr. Thompson, 68, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at his home. He lived in both Pearl River and Bogue Chitto Community. His hobbies were going to the elderly center, and he loved talking to people and joking around. He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis Thompson and Lena Mae Morris Thompson; sisters, Suzanne Stoliby, Nora Dean Frazier, Dianne Joe Billie; brothers, Slick Thompson, Stanley Thompson, Pat Thompson. Survivors include sisters, Effie Bell, and Darlene Thompson.
