Polly Gilley

Funeral services for Polly Gilley were held Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Howard and Rev. Evan Humphries officiating. Burial followed in Eastlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gilley, 80, of Philadelphia died Friday, April 8, 2022

She was a native of Leroy, AL and graduated from Leroy High School in 1960 and was a huge Auburn fan.

She met her husband in 1956 and they were married in 1961 and celebrated 60 years of marriage last year. Mrs. Gilley was a member of First Baptist Church .

Survivors include her husband, Billy Gilley; daughters, Karen Baker and Kelley Heath; three grandchildren;  great grandson;  sisters, Jean Thompson, Glyn Faith and Norma Busby; Aunt Rosa Marie McIIwain; Uncles Clarence and Dewey Carpenter.

Mrs. Gilley was preceded in death by parents, Alice Carpenter Richardson, J.P. Reynolds and Norman Richardson.
