No injuries in vacant house fire on Main

A firefighter became overheated while battling a fire Saturday afternoon at a vacant house on East Main Street.

Philadelphia Fire Chief Deric Horne said the firefighter became overheated, took a break, and went back to work.

Several units battled the blaze just northwest of the First Methodist Church at 563 E Main Street.

Traffic on Main Street was blocked as firefighters battled the blaze.
