Services for Naomi M. Kilpatrick were held Monday, January 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Curt Pace officiating.  Burial followed in New Bethel Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation was held Monday from 12 noon until time of service.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Kilpatrick, 93, of Philadelphia, died Friday, January 15, 2021.

She was born in Leake County and a longtime resident of the Laurel Hill Community of Neshoba County.  Ms. Naomi was known to everyone who had ever met her as ‘MeMaw’ . Her abundance of love and faith for Jesus Christ was number one in her life and she was very proud of that. Her sense of wit and sassy temperament were openly shared with everyone she met. She always encouraged you to be the best you could be and always give the Glory to God.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.  She was formerly of New County Line Baptist Church where she was Bible School Director, taught Sunday school, frequently led the singing, and was a member of the church quartet. 

Survivors include daughters, Barbara Lundy of Gray, GA, Nancy Martin (Ray), MS, Charlotte Chamblee (Gary) and Hope Kilpatrick of Philadelphia, MS; nine grandchildren; seven grandchildren-in-law; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was preceded in death by husband, Aubrey Earl; son-in-law, Charles Lundy; granddaughter, Mandy Chamblee; parents, Cleveland and Luna Kay Moore; sisters, Hazel Beam and Elizabeth Biven; brother, Rev. Doyle Moore.
