Memorial services for Mrs. Melanie Gilmer Hopson will be held at a later date. Mrs. Hopson, 35, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Baptist Memorial in Oxford, MS. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed softball.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Joshlyn Hopson; son, Jayveen Hopson; parents, Murphy and Sharon Gilmer. Survivors include husband, Johnny Hopson; daughter, Kristen Hopson; son, Johnathan Hopson; brother, Brandon Gilmer (Manon); several nieces and nephews.
