Funeral service for Ms. Mattie Fedrick was held 1 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Marion Boler officiating. Interment was in East Lawn City Cemetery. Visitation was 11 AM til time for service Sunday, March 13, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Ms. Fedrick, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She lived most of her life in Philadelphia, MS, but lived the last 20 years in Weir, MS. Her hobbies were reading, fishing, crafting, playing Scrabble, cooking and cleaning.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Fedrick; parents, Leon and Lona Hall Lang; daughters, Tammy Shannon, Dana Fedrick; sister, Magaline Eakes; brothers, Will, Hubert, and Edward Lang; bro-in-law, Hobbie Pilgrim.

Survivors include her sisters, Georgia Ann Watkins (Felix), Vera Mae Pilgrim; (2) grandchildren, Steeler Shannon, Sara Schroeder (Michael); (1) great-grandchild, Charlize Schroeder.
