Funeral service for Mr. Marion Spears was 11 AM Monday, January 16, 2023, at Beatline Baptist Church with Rev. Ben McDaniel, Rev. Larry Savell, Rev. Joey Savell officiating. Interment in church cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge. 

Mr. Spears ,82, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He lived most of his life in Neshoba County where he was a horse trader. He was a member of Beatline Baptist Church. His hobbies were gardening, horses, spending time with his grandkids.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jay Lee Spears, Ruby Jones Spears; daughter, Rhonda Kay Spears; sisters, Cecil Hall, Mavis Savell Marshall; brothers, David, R.L., Jimmy Spears.

Survivors: wife, Rita Spears; daughters, Renee Posey (Eddie), Suzanne Merritt (Buzz), Crystal Germany (Michael); sons, Terry Spears (Debbie), Bobby Spears (Dawn), Chad Spears; brothers, Robert Spears; (19) grandchildren; (15) great-grandchildren; (1) great-great-grandchild: host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
