Lena P. Davis

Funeral Services for Lena P. Davis were held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Les Ferguson Sr. officiating. Burial followed in the Edinburg Community Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lena P. Davis, 83, of Carthage, passed away Wednesday, September 25th, 2024.

Lena was a lifelong homemaker and dedicated her life to nurturing her family and home with love and care. She was an active and devoted member of South Huntington Church of Christ in Kosciusko.

Survivors include daughter,Selena Spears (David); sons, Mark W. Davis and Cecil Ray Davis; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Gertrude Herrington; brothers, David, Glen and Charles Ellingburg; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil W. Davis; great-granddaughter, Aerity Grace Davis; sisters, Catherine Adkins, Louise Cumberland, and Marie Pilgrim; brothers, Pete and Leslie Ellingburg.
