Larry Thurston Rivers

Graveside service for Mr. Larry Thurston Rivers was held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Good Hope Cemetery with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Visitation was 12:30–1:30 PM Thursday, May 13, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Rivers, 73, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at his residence. He lived most of his life in Neshoba County. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and graduate of Mississippi College. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Sports and spending time with his grandchildren was what he enjoyed most.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Vicky Fox Rivers; parents, Thurston Hershel Rivers, and Dora Clark Rivers.

Survivors include, daughter, Tracey Rivers of Phila; brother, Rev. Gary Rivers of Decatur; (3) grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Grandsons - Grant and Seth Rivers, Steve Beason Lonnie Beason Larry Adkins Randy Clark Marty Sistrunk Ricky McDonald.
