Julie Rae Jefferson

Funeral service for Ms. Julie Rae Jefferson will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church with interment in Conehatta Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Jefferson, 65, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, spending time with family and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Chapman and Bobby Sue Jim; husband, Charles Jefferson, Jr.; daughters, Gail Jefferson and an infant; son, Sidney Chapman; sisters, Eula King, Mary Chapman; brothers, John Chapman, Jimmy Chapman.

Survivors include daughters, Natalie Jefferson and Cassie Jefferson; son, Charles Jefferson, Jr.; special companion, Michael Thomas; sister, Martha Denson; 26 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
