Funeral services for Ms. Julie Ann Denson were held 10 AM Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Standing Pine Facility Building with Bro. Mark Patrick officiating. Interment was in the Standing Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation was at 1 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Standing Pine Facility Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Denson, 43, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Anderson Baptist Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandkids and family, playing volleyball, stickball and basketball.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ricky Lee Denson, Sr.; grandparents, Lucille Chickaway, Easlin Denson, Homer Sockey, Fannie Lou Willis Sockey.

Survivors include companion, Merrill Vaughn; mother, Mary Helen Sockey Denson; daughters, Michelle Denson, Sadie Ann Vaughn, Taylor Vaughn, Haylee Denson; sons, Josiah Lee Tubby, Damien Vaughn, Julian Vaughn; sisters, Marie Denson, Lucinda Bartas, Beaudy Denson, Lynn Parkerson; brothers, David Denson, Enery Denson, Ricky Lee Denson, Jr.; 6 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Peter Sockey, Joshua Comby, Robert Comby, Harrington Allen, Samuel Alvarez, Christian Sockey. Honorary pallbearer is Paul Gibson.
