James Vines

Funeral service for Mr. James Vines was held at 11 AM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens, Rev. Tim Vowell, and Rev. Nels Norris officiated. Interment was in Spring Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Vines, 62, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. He lived most of his life in the Spring Creek community. He was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church. He was the Manager at Yates Ready Mix. His pride and joy was his wife of 37 years, his son, daughter-in-law, and his namesake grandson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Baudie Vines.

Survivors include his wife, Tammie Vines; mother, Orba Dean Vines; son, Phillip Vines (Elizabeth) sisters, Faye Mason (Doug), Sandra Latimer (William), Gayle Luke (Danny); (1) grandson, James William Vines; loving mother and father in-law, Hazel and Ted Callahan; brothers, sisters in-law; several nieces, nephews.
