James “Foots” Stevens

Funeral services for James “Foots” Stevens were held Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Randall Dunaway officiating. Burial followed in Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday, August 22, 2021 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until service time. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stevens, 69, of Philadelphia died Thursday, August 19, 2021. 

He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and resided in Philadelphia. Mr. Stevens was a retired truck driver and was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Stevens; daughter, Wendy Dorman ; sons, Scott and Jason Stevens; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Donnie Stevens(Renee) and Dewayne Stevens (Peggy); numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his parents, Ina and Claude Stevens; son-in-law, Bo Dorman.
