Houston Cotton

Funeral service for Mr. Houston Cotton will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 5, 2023 at his home, 225 Indian Road in Louisville, MS. with Bro. George Dixon officiating. Interment will be in the Choctaw Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his home, 225 Indian Road. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cotton, 76, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Choctaw Health Center. His hobbies included watching westerns, especially his favorite actor Clint Eastwood; talking on the phone, spending time with family and friends, listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Morphus Cotton and Roni Chapman Cotton; brothers, George Cotton, KC Cotton, Jerry Chapman, David Cotton.

Survivors include his daughter, Histina Thomas; step-daughters, Alicia Jim, Millie Chickaway, Carrie Sockey; sister, Pauline Lewis; 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jeffery Cotton, Alex Hickman, Josh Hickman, Feldon Jefferson, Kendall Wallace, Kendril Wallace, Steve Dixon; honorary pallbearers are Hamilton Chapman, Eric Chapman, Jimmy Cotton, Jr.
