Earnest G. Stovall

Funeral services for Earnest G. Stovall were held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00p.m. from McLain Chapel Church with Rev. J.W. Jenkins officiating. Interment followed in McLain Chapel Cemetery. McClain Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was a native of Neshoba County and a graduate of Neshoba Central High School. He joined the U.S. Air Force and after service he graduated from ECCC with his AS degree and MSU with his BS degree. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union #917 and a member and past master of Coffadeliah Lodge $371. In 1984 started his own plumbing and electrical business and retired in 2010.

Survivors include his daughters, Beverly Ketelsen and Esther Drury (Kellis Greer); son, Dewey (Shanna) Stovall; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father, Earnest Stovall; step-father and mother Johnnie and Rachel Yates; one infant sister.
