David Wayne Smith

Funeral services for Mr. David Wayne Smith will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 20, 2024 at Conehatta CERF Building with interment in Conehatta Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Conehatta CERF Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smith, 41, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Anderson Baptist Hospital in Meridian, MS. He enjoyed watching football, talking with his niece and nephews and talking on the phone.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Wayne Smith, Sr. and Sally Rose Jim Williams; sisters, Cordelia Williams and Mindy Bell; grandparents, Dalton Smith, Edna Smith, Viola Jim.

Survivors include sister, Leanna Charlie; niece, Cornelia Bell; nephews, Tayden Hickman, I’zden Charlie; a host of cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers are Alarys Johnson, Jaeon Johnson, Lavaniel Jefferson, Jr., Braylon McMillan, Louie Charlie.
