Chris Franklin

Services for Chris Franklin were held Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mike Sullivan officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Church of God Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Franklin, 49, of Philadelphia died Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Christopher Glen Franklin was born on September 9, 1974 and was a resident of Neshoba County his entire life and resided in Philadelphia. He was a welder and proudly done it for over 30 years and he was also a small engine mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Courtney Russell Franklin; children, Conner, Hunter (Joshlynne), Morgan and Grace Franklin; granddaughter, Marsali Lewis; brother, Michael Jackson; sisters, Angie Dearing and Brittany Franklin.

Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Conner Glen Franklin and Patricia Ann Franklin; grandparents, Rudolph and Ellie Franklin and Bernice Dickey.
